Matt Morgan
Visual StorytellerMatt Morgan has been a producer and editor of documentary, commercial, and promo content since 2000 when he began editing cold opens for HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher and promos for HBO’s First Look. In 2012, Matt produced the award-winning documentary short film, Breaking Through: Memories of the Tuskegee Airmen, which won the Lifetree Film Festival’s “Lifetree Film Award” and “Audience Favorite” from at the University of Iowa’s Hawkeye Theatre.
Matt currently lives in Colorado and is a video producer for the United States Anti-Doping Agency. In the Fall of 2020, he will begin his teaching his first year as an Assitant Professor, teaching courses video production, cinematography, and documentary filmmaking at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Matt is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder (B.A., Film Studies, 1998), the University of Texas in Austin (B.S., Radio-Television-Film Production, 2000), and Full Sail University (MFA, Creative Writing, 2019). Through both his work and education, he has continued to pursue his passion of exploring our world of fascinating people and events through visual storytelling.
